LOW NOx COMBUSTION SYSTEMS
Advanced Combustion Technology, Inc. (ACT) provide a number of Low NOx Combustion systems designed to help our customers meet EPA NOx emisstion requirements on Coal, Gas, and Oil.
Ultra Low NOx Burners – specifically designed for the lowest possible NOx emissions while maintaining optimum combustion performance. Ease of operation maintains Ultra Low NOx levels over the load range. NOx reductions range from 40-60%..
Low NOx Burner Upgrades – Modifying the existing burner system in order to stage the combustion process. Upgrade components are fabricated from wear resistant alloys for extended life. NOx reductions range from 35-50%.
Over Fire Air – Combustion air is diverted from the burners to create a fuel rich zone in the lower furnace completing the combustion process prior to the boiler convective section. Additional NOx reductions beyond new burners or upgrades range from 35-50%.
