COAL
ACT's proprietary components upgrades existing burners to high efficiency Low NOx burners. Coal and secondary air mixing is controlled at the burner outlet to deeply stage combustion for low NOx control. Typical reductions range from 40% to 60% with minimal impact on flyash LOI.
THE HARDWARE
Typically three components, a Low NOx Swirler, Coal Nozzle and Coal Flow Distributor, are all that's needed to upgrade original OEM or Low NOx burners. Components are fabricated from wear resistant alloys for extended life.
